CAUSE For server names with less than 8 characters, embedded NULLs were being read as an end of file. SYMPTOM In some circumstances, editing files with the NNEDT command removes all other contents of the edited file. CAUSE When the same file is explicitly specified as the infile and the outfile (using the /i and /o options) for the NNEDT command, and the workstation is running DR DOS, the file handling was causing incorrect editing. SYMPTOM Feedback from package script execution is not being returned to the Administration Console. CAUSE Workstations running DR DOS encountered problems with a VLM-based NetWare requester. SYMPTOM MS Windows applications that are scheduled as events from a package script using the NNWIN SCHED command are not being executed. CAUSE MS Windows events were being flagged incorrectly to use a command processor that is not used for MS Windows applications. SYMPTOM Using the No Replace option for Push distributions to client workstations deletes the existing file on the workstation. CAUSE Existing workstation files were being truncated to 0 bytes before verification of the existence of the file was performed. SYMPTOM Status code information for the condition of a disk being full was not included in the online Help. CAUSE The status code information was not included in the build of the online Help. SOLUTION The symptons listed above will be corrected after the NetWare Navigator pre-built packages are distributed to the appropriate Distribution Lists. Apply NN30A.EXE Solution Specifics: The following information explains what is fixed by NN30A.EXE: - Embedded NULLs are replaced with spaces in the script log file. - File contents are retained for files being edited with the NNEDT command when the /i and /o options are specified. - Conflicts between DR DOS and VLM shells have been resolved by using the NetWare Client API. - The command processor is no longer used for scheduling MS Windows applications. - Online help has been updated to include status code information for the condition of a disk being full.
