NIGHTNet Guidelines
                            -------------------

 It is not the purpose of NIGHTNet to have a lot of "RULES". We are
a friendly network and will continue to be. Below are the "Guidelines"
that are only common courtesy. 

1.)  The following tagline should be set for each node so that all 
messages will have the originating BBS identified:

NIGHTNet (tm) * BBS Name * City, St * (123) 456-7890

2.)  Abusive or offensive language, name calling, personal attacks can
not be tolerated in NIGHTNet.                                     
                                        
3.)  Aliases are not allowed in net forums except the Adult forum 
"Naughty Nights". 

4.)  To keep NIGHTNet a friendly place we give net access to systems
where you must log onto the board under your real name only. We do
not allow "handle" only type boards in the net. 

5.)  The following forums are REQUIRED by all nodes: Nightnet Cafe,
Administration and Net Info.

Nightnet Cafe is the "Chit Chat" type forum and all nodes are
encourged to promote this forum as much as possible. Administration
is a private forum for node sysops to discuss network business. This
forum should be set as private for the node sysop only. Net Info is
open to ALL and is the place for users and Hosts to contact network
management with problems, suggestions and advice.

6.)  Mail runs should be made daily. This will allow netmail to stay 
fresh and get messages across the country in a timely manner.

7.) It is the net sysops responsibility that adults only have access
to any net adult forums. 


                                FORUM HOSTS
                                -----------

     Any caller that is interested in Hosting a forum should leave
a private message to Carol Swimmer (Network Moderator) in the 
Net Info forum. 
     The responsibilities of a forum host are to welcome new members
and to try to keep the messages on topic as well as trying to keep
the messages active when traffic slows down.
     If a forum host has a problem with a user in their forum that 
a friendly message won't resolve the problem, a private message to 
Carol Swimmer should be left in the Net Info Forum.
