The BF= blending filament; C= cord.  You can use the blending filament by
itself (doubled) or with the floss.  When using the filament, it must be
knotted to the needle with a slip knot.  I have not used the cord, but have
seen it in the store.  Both the filament and the cord range in price from  $.99
to $1.49 around here (Cleveland).  I have found the filament easy to use and it
really makes the scales of the dragon stand out--without using an extra strand
of floss.
