  bodice: ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 23 ch (24 sc) ch
  1, turn
  row 2:sc in first st, dc in next st. (this is the pattern st) work in
  pattern st in next 6 st, in next st work sc and dc, work this pattern next
  11 sts, work the first pattern st in next 6 st, ch 1, turn (36 st)
  row 3:sc in next st, dc in next st, work this pattern across, ch 1 turn
  row 4:sc in 1st st and work in pattern across (36 st)
  row 5:work in pattern over first 10 st. dec over next 2 st (dec: pull up
  lp in each of next 2 st, yo and thru all lps on hook, one dec made work
  dec ove next 10 st. work in pattern on next 10 sts
  row 6: work in pattern st across (30 st)
  row 7: armhole row. work in pattern on 6 st. work this row 3 more times,
  fasten off
  work row 7 for left front of blouse

  front of blouse: skip 2 st, sc in next sc, work in pattern across to
  within last 2 st.
  row 11: work in pattern on 2st, made dec in next 2st, work in pattern over
  next 6 sts, dec ove next 2 st.
  row 12: work in pattern across (12 st)
  row 13: work in pattern across

  armhole row: work as for left and right front of dress. sew shoulders tog.

  skirt of dress
  rnd 1: on opposite of blouse top foundation ch, work 1 sc in 1st ch, 2 sc
  in each ch across, end w/1 sc in last ch (48 sc) join to 1st sc in this
  row (from now on you will be working in rounds)
  rnd 2: ch 3(counts as 1st dc)* skip 1 st in next st, work dc, ch1, dc
  (V-st made), rep from * around, slst in top of first ch 3 for each rnd.
  rnd 3: ch3 (first dc, *2 dc in V-st, 2 dc in same st. make post st over
  next dc (post st=yo hoook and insert in back and around dc on previous
  row), rep from * around. this will be the pattern for skirt. cont in this
  pattern until length of skirt you desire and fasten off

  sleeves: work 10 sc around armhole.
  rnd 2: *sc in first st, dc in next st, rep from * around and join to 1st
  st in rnd. work rnd 2 until length of sleeve desired. rep for other sleeve

  neck opening: work sc starting at bottom of bodcie and work up back and
  around neck, work 3 sc in first st of nect and 3sc in last st of neck,
  work in sc down back of bodice. fasten off

  trim of neck and sleeves. ch3, sc in next st, rep from * around. fasten
  off.
