      Title: Castille Soap
 Categories: Tightwad, Soap, Crafts
      Yield: 1 servings

      1 pt Olive oil
      4 oz Lye dissolved in cold water
           -(follow instructions on
           -can)

  The water evaporates as the soap thickens.  Stir it constantly to
  prevent scorching on the bottom of the pan, which will discolor and
  might produce off-scents in the finished soap.

  As the soap cools, add a few drops of almond extract.  Color if
  desired. Pour into molds.
