Combine:

2 cups white sugar and 1 cup water.  Boil together 10 minutes.

Add 1 cup strong tea and chill.

Add:

6 oz frozen lemon juice or juice of 6 lemons
6 oz frozen orange juice or juice of 6 oranges
20 oz can pineapple juice
7 cups cold water

Combine all above and refrigerate for two hours.  Strain if desired.

Add:

1/4 cup marachino cherries and juice
32 oz ginger ale

Pour over block of ice in punch bowl.  Add thin slices of oranges
and lemons for decorations
