Step 1: Mix 1 cup of unsalted shelled peanuts with 1/2 teaspoon of
baking soda.  Stir well.

Step 2: Grease a large cookie sheet.

Step 3: Melt 1 cup of white sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly.

Step 4: When sugar has melted stir in peanuts and spread on cookie sheet.

Step 5: When cool break into bite size pieces.
