Halloooooooooo All!

Someone out there asked for a pumpkin pie recipe in time for American

thanksgiving.  Here's my favorite...
                        Libby's Famous Pumpkin Pie

2 eggs, slightly beaten                   1/4 tsp. cloves
1 16-oz can Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin    1 2/3 cup (13 fl.oz.) evaporated
3/4 cup sugar                               milk or light cream
1/2 tsp. salt                             1 9-inch unbaked pie shell with
1 tsp. cinnamon                             high fluted edge
1/2 tsp. ginger

Mix filling ingredients in order given.  Pour into pie shell.  Bake in
preheated 425øF oven for 15 minutes.  Reduce temperature to 350øF and
continue baking for 45 minutes, until knife inserted in center of pie
filling comes out clean.  Cool.  Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
