                          Venison Jerky

A simple and great method.  Combine a few drops of Tabasco, a pinch
of garlic powder in a 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce.

Cut the venison into 1/8 inch thick slices.  Soak overnight in the
mixture above.

Use two racks in your oven.  Put a large cookie sheet on the bottom rack.
Put toothpicks through the venison and hang from the top rack.  Bamboo
sticks will work.

Turn the oven on very low, just the minimum needed to make it work.  Place
an object to keep the door barely open.  Wait.  Keep waiting.  Wait some
more.  OK, now it is ready.
