                              DUTCH OVEN MEAT LOAF



                              1 1/2 lb ground beef
                              4 slices bread
                              2 eggs
                              1/4 cup milk
                              1/3 med onion chopped
                              2 Tsp. ea pepper, onion salt, garlic
                                salt
                              1 small can tomato sauce



               Mix all ingredients together with 1/4 can of tomato
          sauce. Form into loaf and place in oven. Pour on remaining
          tomato sauce. Cover and cook about 35 to 40 minutes. Put 6
          to 8 coals under the oven and 18 to 24 on lid.
               A variation would be to substitute 1 can of mushroom
          soup and 1/3 can of water for the tomato sauce, and then top
          with cheese.
