RE: cocoa cake

Here are two recipes that use cocoa, instead of chocolate squares.

Mayonaise cake
(Don't let the name throw you off, the mayonaise makes the cake real moist)

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
dash salt
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda'
4 tbs. cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup warm water
1 cup Miracle Whip

Mix all the dry ingredients together.  Add the vanilla, water and mayonaise.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for about 30 min. or 

till toothpick comes out clean.

Fudgey Browniees

3/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup oil
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Stir cocoa and soda together - Blend in oil - Add boiling water - Stir until 



mixture thickens (ooops, sorry, you should have just used half the oil)
Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining oil - Add flo;ur, vanilla and salt
Pour in greased pan  9x13 bake 35 to 40 min or 2  8" square pans for 30 to 32 

minutes at 350 degrees
