1/4 cup margarine or butter
4 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
powdered sugar

In large saucepan, melt margarine and chocolate over low heat, stirring
constantly.  Cool slightly,  Stir in remaining ingredients, except powdered
sugar.  Blend well.  Chill dough for 30 minutes.  Heat oven to 300 dgrees.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.  Place 2 inches
apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 - 18 minutes.

We call these cookies "Zebra Cookies" and if you make them, you'll see why!
