Place metal steamer basket in the bottom of a large pot and add water to the bottom of the basket. Stand corn in, bring to a boil, cover and steam for 6 minutes. Remove from roasting pan and let cool. In a medium bowl, beat butter and cream together with a fork. stir in salt and pepper. brush half the butter mixture on the corn and bake for 4 to 5 minutes (you can also cook them on the grill over medium heat).
