BY: R2D2 #3 @6460 Well I found a secret way to make gravy.. now this may sound silly to some  but I put My Milk and Flour in a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup, then I take a pair  well I use my electric hand mixer (beater( whatever you wanna call it... and I  mix it all together so that all the lumps are out.. then I add it to my Juice  from my meat.... as for cornstarch I have heard of it but you only use a  teaspoon or so.. its hard to make it that way.... but once I see how the gravy  is doing thickining wise (I usually put about , well up to the third line or  so on the flour and then the rest is milk and this is hard cause I can look at  the cup and just put it in there.. so to explain it is hard... but My gravy  used to be awful till I stumbled onto making it with the measuring cup and  using the hand mixer and then I use the hand mixer in the pan too.... hey  Ladies... it works and I have never had a problem with gravy since... thats how I do it...
