Notes of Interest:
 
Pratas Island - Preparations are proceeding for a 10 day expedition,
starting 16 March, with 14 operators.  It is not known if RTTY will be
used.  Details are expected to be released this week.  Since this is
not a DXCC country, WFWL.
 
A group from the radio amateur society of Thailand (RAST), led by
Chamlong, HS1AAM, will operate as E28DX from Kho Samui Island (AS-101)
from 8-10 April 1994.  The island is 600 km south of Bangkok.  They
will operate RTTY, CW, SSB, FM, AMTOR, and Packet.  Bands will be
2-160 meters (no WARC).  Other operators will be HS1CDX, HS0/G3NOM,
and HS0/G4UAV.  Foreign licensed amateurs with DXpedition experience,
especially in the IOTA field, are invited to participate in the
