prints or 1.75 oz. solid skeins Pompadour type yam,
made of 85% Sayelle with a 15% rayon wrap. You
need 5 skeins of White #200 or the color of your
choice.

Interchangeable with Lion Brand JAmie 3 ply (Art # 870)
Crochet hook size H, (5.00 mm) (6 UK) or size needed to
obtain correct guage.

GAUGE: 2 squares and 2 rdws = 1". TO INSC
CORRECT SIZE, BE SURE TO CHECK
MEASUREMENTS ACROSS CHEST AT UNDERARM: 23".

BACK: Ch 144. Row 1: Dc in 9th ch from hook, * ch 2, sk 2
ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * across (46 open squares).
Row 2: Ch 5, turn. Dc in next dc, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc in next
dc: repeat from * across, end ch 2, sk 2 ch of turning ch, dc
in next ch. Repeat Row 2 for pattern until piece measures
about 16 1/2" from beg. Sleeves: At edge of the following 2
rows inc 4 open squares as follows: At end of next row ch
17, turn. Next Row: Dc in 9th ch from hook, *ch 2,
dc in next dc; repeat from * across, end ch 2, sk 2 ch of
turning ch, dc in next ch, ch 17, turn. Next Row: Dc in 9th ch
from hook, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc in next dc; repeat from *
across, end ch 2, sk 2 ch turning ch, dc in next ch (54
open squares) NEXT ROW: Ch 5, turn. DC in next dc, * ch 2
sk 2 dc, dc in next dc; repeat from * across end ch 2, sk 2
ch of turning ch, dc in next ch. Repeat last row until piece
measures about 27" from beg. Fasten off.

FRONT: Work same as back.

FINISHING: Sew front to back at shoulders, joining
17 squares from each arnhole edge together and
leaving 20 squares open in center for neck. Sew side and
sleeve seams.
