next 2 dc, 'ch 4. 1 sc in next 4 tr, ch 4, 1 dc in each of next 3

dc in turning ch. Ch 3, turn. Row 3: Sk first dc, 1 dc in each .

work 34 dc for left front. Turn. Shape armhole: At this edge,
dec 1 st every row 8 times. AT THE SAME TIME, shape V-
neck: Dec 1 st at center front every other row 4 times more,
then dec 7 st every row 9 times. Work even until armhole
measures 8 1/2". Fasten off. Sk 4 sts. Join yarn with a sl
and work across 74 sts for back. Shape armholes: Dec
beg and end of every row 8 times. Work even until back
measures same as front to shoulders. Work 7 row sc from
left to right. Fasten off. Sk 4 sts. Join yarn with a sl st and
work across 34 dc for right front, then dec 1 st at end of row
for center front. Complete to correspo~d to le~ front,
reversing shaping.

FINISHING: Ch 4 and join with a sl st 4 1/2" up
from lower edge on right front to form button loop. Outer
Edge: Join yarn with sl st at side seam. Work 1 rnd sc along
entire outer edge including the 4-ch for button loop. Then
work 1 md from left to right. Fasten off.
