========== README.TXT ========== The Willow Creek Diskette Duplicator (DSKDUP) duplicates and checks floppy diskettes. It supports 360K/720K/1.2M/1.44M diskettes. It can save diskette images on your hard disk for convenience, and it checks diskettes two ways - BIOS level track by track verify, and DOS level file scan to insure all files are present, readable, and correct. Beeps in different ways for attention and to indicate success/failure. You may also specify how many BIOS retries are allowed. For more information on using DSKDUP type "DSKDUP" at the DOS command prompt. Willow Creek Software, the creator of DSKDUP, is a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP). ============ Installation ============ To install DSKDUP just copy all the files into the same directory. You can also copy DSKDUP*.* to somewhere in your MS-DOS path and you will be able to execute DSKDUP from any directory. ========= Shareware ========= The Willow Creek Diskette Duplicator is shareware. This means you get to try a fully functioning and documented copy before you buy. However, if you decide you like it and use it regularly you must purchase a registered copy for $29. For details on how to register, and what else you get by doing so, see file REGISTER.TXT. ================= Technical Support ================= Registered users of DSKDUP can obtain technical support in several ways. 1. Through Compuserve. Send eMail to Tim Yaukey, ID 71001,315. 2. Through US Mail. Send correspondence to: Willow Creek Software P.O. Box 2874 Amherst, MA 01004 There is currently no restriction on the amount of technical support you may obtain, though Willow Creek Software reserves the right to change this policy in the future. Willow Creek Software guarantees that registered users will ALWAYS receive free technical support for 3 months after registering. ================= The ASP Ombudsman ================= This program is produced by a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle works for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or problem with an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for members' products. Please write to the ASP Ombudsman at 545 Grover Road, Muskegon, MI 49442-9427 USA, FAX 616-788-2765 or send a CompuServe message via CompuServe Mail to ASP Ombudsman 70007,3536.
