I had the same problems with all external protocols that I tried to use. It seemed as though the log files were being deleted somehow. I got around it in my batch files that call the protocols. It isn't pretty but it seems to work for me. This is my batch file and Protocol.ctl for HS/link. Hope it helps. HSLNK.BAT copy junk.txt dsz.log JUNK.TXT is a 0 length file hslink -p%1 %2 -Ud:\file\uncheck just to make sure there is a copy trx.log + dsz.log fred.log DSZ.LOG file. TRX.LOG is the del trx.log final up/down log file. ren fred.log trx.log PROTOCOL.CTL Protocol HSLink Type Batch ; Type Errorlevel ; Type Bi ; Type Opus LogFile DSZ.Log ControlFile HSlink.ctl DownloadCmd hslnk %P @%x:hslink.Ctl UploadCmd hslnk %P DownloadString %s UploadString DownloadKeyword h UploadKeyword H FilenameWord 10 DescriptWord 0 End Protocol P.S. I'm new to this too so if anyone has a better idea please let me know. Colin. ... OFFLINE 1.36 --------------= Brought to you compliments of Plastic Tower =---------------
