Although from things I've read on the COMM echo, it sounds like there are situations where Ymodem or Ymodem-G can do better speeds,but without the crash-recovery of Zmodem. I saw one on my board that really surprised me... A guy who was supposed to be using Telix/Windows using old plain vanilla Xmodem and ended up at 188 cps for his transfer (2400 baud). I usually use Zmodem with Telix or FrontDoor and alway get 230-235 cps at 2400 baud (VERY OLD non-correcting Courier 2400). --------------= Brought to you compliments of Plastic Tower =---------------
