---------------------------------------- Here is the proper setup to use with Wildcat 3.50 (released 6/15/92) to allow bidirectional file transfers. This same batch file also works with Wildcat's Tomcat QWK mail door to allow bidirectional mail transfers. The batch file will work for both Desqview systems (which I run -- 5 nodes) and non-DV systems, and with any comm port address or IRQ since it picks up that information from the environment variables that Wildcat uses. Alternately, -PB and -PI can be replaced with simply -P%2 if using standard comm addresses and IRQs. The same batch file can be used for both the Wildcat upload and download batch files, as specified in wildcat, or you can use seperate batch files if you prefer: SH.BAT, placed in the Wildcat home directory. @echo off HSLINK -PB%WCBASEID% -PI%WCIRQID% -E%4 -FC -A -I2 -R -HS -NV %5 |<----- or -P%2 -------->| Remove if not DV---> |-| The Wildcat 3.50 Makewild setup: ÉÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍËÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍË º 06-21-92 º External Protocol Definition º ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÊÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÊ Ltr Name Up .BAT Down .BAT Batch Ä ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Ä H HSLink SH.BAT SH.BAT Y --------------------------------------------------------------------- You MUST also have the following line in your environment for EACH node so that the DSZ.LOG file winds up in the right place: SET DSZLOG=drive\path\nodeworkdirectory\DSZ.LOG For example: SET DSZLOG=C:\WC30\WCWORK\NODE1\DSZ.LOG -------------------------------------------------------------------- Regards, Tom Tcimpidis Sysop, The MOG-UR'S EMS 818-366-1238/8929/6442
