version 2.0 released 02-01-93 Many features have been added to this release. Please refer to the JMSTATS.DOC file for complete details. Here are a few details. Added a DAYS option to all output files. The format can be a date, a number of days, or an 'M' for current month only. Removed all restrictions on the unregistered version. Registered users will get the added feature of having their BBS name appear in the header for each output file. Added new screens for Top Files downloaded, Top Callers (which includes calls, messages, and uploads), and a Top Downloaders bulletins. Added a configuration option to help setup your CFG file correctly. Many people were experiencing some problems getting it set up and working properly so this option should help. Added the ability for the read option to remember the date and time of the last record read from the activity log. This will allow sysops to maintain their longer activity logs and still be able to function without duplication. It does track each node seperately so it is easy to maintain. Parameters passed on the command line are now preceded with a '-' instead of a '/' to allow the passing of dates. Included in this release are two additional programs that you may find useful. The JMBULL program will create two text files of the last 3000 files downloaded sorted by the filename and also by the callers last name. Also, the JMDOOR program is a beginning attempt to provide direct use by the caller of the data available. It can be set up as a Door and will display that caller's usage on the BBS, including all uploads and downloads. These two programs are a beginning and hopefully I will have time and some suggestions on how to improve them. These files work fine on my system, but may not work if you are using COM ports other than 1 and 2. Included a suggestion form for future ideas and improvements for the program. version 1.01 released 11-26-92 Includes a fix for a problem with first time unregistered usage when there were no data files created yet. Fixed a problem when the datapath in the CFG file was not the current directory and you were using the O option. version 1.00 released 11-10-92 First general release of the JMSTATS program.
