Welcome to the world of GACQ Software! This program will allow you to expand your dos hooks in Wildcat! 3.XX to however many you would like to have. The limit on the shareware version is 40, so you are able to run from 1 to 40 different programs through the single dos hook. The registered version will give you as many main screens as you would like with a limit of 40 on each of them. This can also be run from the door menu if desired, your choice. This will allow you to run different BBS Softwares as doors inside Wildcat!. We've included sample bat files for you to look at and edit, allowing you to run anything from 1 hook.... Please look at the bat files as they will show you how to set up almost anything to run from inside this environment! In order to run BBS Door games from this, just pass the standard door#.bat information in the callit#.bat file, changing to the correct directory with the exe#.bat file which also passes the correct parameters along to the software you're calling up to maintain the com ports.... Now on to the meat of this file...... Definations, etc.... You'll notice that we're passing along a %1 %2 in the files that call up a bbs. These mean simple connect rate = %1, com port = %2...... These are all the variables you really need to pass to another BBS Software to make it operate properly. The users WILL need to log onto the other BBS Software if that's what you're running behind this program, if you're running anything else, copy the door.sys file from THEDoor directory to the dir. of the door you're running. As you can see, we're copying the door.sys file into THEDoor directory so we have it there.... If you're running multi node, please us the %wcnodeid% to define which node directory you're in! In the file named "THEDOOR.CFG" you'll see 3 parameters passed there. The First is the BBS name, the Second is the SysOp's FIRST name, and the Third is the SysOp's LAST name. The file named "BBSNUM.CFG" is where you define how many doors, BBS softwares, etc. This file should have only ONE line in it, a numerical value between 1 and 40..... The sample has 52 in it, you'll see it sets automatically to 30 with improper values there.....as well as a timed delay telling you to set that value correctly..... The user only sees a delay, you see the "Ooops" message ONLY on your side. There is an ansi screen, which MUST be named SCREEN1.ANS that you can create to your own taste. We do require lines 22 through 25 for our data, so as you create your screen please leave those open for us or they will be over- written by our data......Also, please do NOT use the Wildcat! @ codes, we aren't currently translating them.... Maybe the future? This was written to run under Wildcat! 3.XX exclusively as personal opinion is that I feel it's the best...... It WILL call the OTHER BBS Softwares or different nodes in your Wildcat! without any problem...... OK, now onto how much to register this program.... With the number of hours spent in developement, at 10 cents an hour, it works out to about $142.00, BUT we believe that's WAY too much! We feel this is well worth $50.00 as a 30 day introductory offer. This price is good through April 30, 1993. After that date the price goes back up to $75.00......
