     A LANtastic Ethernet Add-On Kit contains everything you need to add a
     computer to a LANtastic network quickly and easily. The kit includes
     the license to add a node to the network, installation and set-up
     software, and a software-configurable NodeRunner Ethernet adapter.

     Simply insert the NodeRunner adapter in an available 8-bit or 16-bit
     expansion slot - the adapter senses and adjusts to the slot
     automatically. Instead of manually setting jumpers, you use setup
     software to configure the adapter from your keyboard. 

     All NodeRunner adapters come with 32K of onboard RAM (the 2000/A is
     expandable to 64K), use less power than conventional Ethernet boards,
     are NE2000 compatible and include NDIS, ODI and many other drivers.
     They mix in a LANtastic network with Artisoft AE series adapters. The
     NodeRunner series is built around the Artisoft LAN Interface
     Controller for Ethernet (ALICE(TM)) chip, The Serial Port of the
     Nineties(TM).

     Choose from four NodeRunner adapters, based on the cable you use in
     your network and whether you will install the board in a standard or
     Micro Channel slot.
