This disk contains the TWAIN drivers for Scanplus scanners. 

	The two files are:      1) TWAIN.DLL    22944  Bytes
				2) SCANPLUS.DS   167620 Bytes

	Following are the steps needed to install the drivers.

	1) Install the device driver that came with your Scanplus scanner as
	   indicated in the manual. Make sure that your driver is dated after
	   December 15, 1992.

	   Here is the list of the drivers:

	   SCANDEVC.SYS    <--- Driver for Scanplus Color 6000.
	   SCANDEVC.SYS    <--- Driver for Scanplus Color 3000.
	   SCANDEVB.SYS    <--- Driver for Pagereader 300.

	2) Make a subdirectory called TWAIN under your windows directory.

	3) Copy the SCANPLUS.DS file to the C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN directory.

	4) Copy the TWAIN.DLL file to the C:\WINDOWS directory.

	  If you are using any ZSoft software, you need to load their driver
	also. Their driver name is HPSCANER.EXE. Our driver, SCANDEVC.SYS
	must be loaded before HPSCANER.EXE. Zsoft automatically installs the
	HP driver named SJII.SYS. You do not need to install this driver
	to use our scanners. SCANDEVC.SYS must be loaded instead.

	  You also need to set the contrast control switch in the SCANDEVC.SYS
	to zero when using Zsoft software. Your line in your CONFIG.SYS file
	should look as follows:

			device=c:\SCANDEVC.SYS /C0

	   The previous line sets the color mapping to zero (0). Color scanning
	needs color mapping to enhance viewing.
