    Quad(tm) is shareware, and is (c)Copyright 1993 Sverrir €. Berg.
    Quad is 1&2 player game for Windows 3.x.

    Stack your tiles, and try to get 4 in-a-row.  Play against a friend or the 
computer, 4 various levels of difficulty.  Full Windows help system, mouse 
and keyboard support.
    Quad is small and friendly, a game for all ages, very addicting!
    Use this shareware version (full blown program!) for a 
trial period of 2 weeks, then stop using it OR better yet register it's use
(see Chapter 4. How to register).

 * 3. How to install Quad(tm) ***********************************************
    
    FROM DOS:
          i) Change to the directory where the Quad files are (this readme).
                Example:
                    cd a:\  <press return>
         ii) Copy the files to a directory on your hard disk,
                Example:
                    copy quad.* c:\windows  <return>
        iii) Start windows.
                Example:
                    win  <return>

    FROM WINDOWS:
         iv) Select the program group you wish the game to be in.
                Example:    <click the left mouse button on 
                                            the "games" icon or window>
          v) Select from the program manager menu: File->New.
                Example:    <press <ALT> + <f> and then <n> >
         vi) Select New Program item.
                Example:    <click the "ok" button>
        vii) Type the program name in the "Command Line" box.  
                Example:    c:\windows\quad.exe  <return>
        OR vii) Click on the browse button, and select the program using 
                the mouse.
        
        viii) Start the game by double clicking it's icon.

        
 * 4. How to register + FAQ about registration ******************************

    Send USD 15.00 (or equivalent) Check or Money Order to 
the following address:

    Please include the following information: 
            1) Your name and address.  
            2) Where and when you got Quad.  
            3) The version of Quad you're using (see above).
            4) What kind of disks you use (3 1/2" or 5 1/4").

    You will recive your personal registration number, and a disk containing
the newest version of Quad.
    This is my first shareware program, so if you folks out there register, 
maybee I will write more programs and include them on your disks, or ship 
them separately at a later date!
