License Agreement 1. Payment. Système International Converter (hereinafter referred to as the Program") is SHAREWARE. This means you are allowed to try out the program before you purchase it. Should you decide not to keep the Program, you must destroy any personal copies you made of the Program. If you decide to keep the Program, you agree to immediately complete the registration form held within the Program itself and return it, along with your payment in full, to Indian Territory Software (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). You also agree to abide by the terms which follow. 2. Copyright. The Program and its accompanying documentation are copyrighted and remain the sole property of the Company and C. Mark Teter (hereinafter referred to as the "Author"). The accompanying Microsoft Visual Basic files (hereinafter referred to as the "Runtime files") are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation and are Copyright 1982-1992, Microsoft Corporation. You may freely distribute the Program as long as distribution is WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATION and ALL accompanying documentation and/or files, including this license, are provided. Any other use or distribution, such as commercial distribution, is prohibited without express, written permission. 3. License. This license allows you to use one copy of the Program on a single machine. You may not rent or lease the Program. You may transfer this license, along with all original copies of the Program and documentation permanently to another entity as long as the transferee agrees to be bound by the terms of this agreement. Upon such transfer, you must destroy all copies of the Program that you do not transfer to the new licensee. You should also notify the Company of such a transfer. 4. Modifications and Mergers. You may not modify the Program or the documentation, or merge it into another program, without express, written permission from the Company and the Author. Permission is expressly denied to modify or merge the Runtime. 5. Term. This license is effective until terminated. The Company may terminate this license at any time for breach of any of the licensing terms or conditions. Upon termination, you shall return the original diskettes containing the Program, its documentation and the Runtime to the Company and destroy any other copies of the Program not returned. 6. Limited Warranty. The Company warrants the diskettes on which the Program is furnished to be free of defects in material and workmanship and that the Program will work as described in the documentation. The Program itself is distributed AS IS and no warranty is made regarding the Program's usefulness to the user. Upon verification of defect, the Company will, at its own discretion, either repair or replace the defective copy or refund the amount you paid for this license. If the Company elects to make a refund, this license will immediately terminate and you must comply with the provisions of Section 5 above.
