OS/2 TIP for USERS Well over the last week I've learned a little information about OS/2 Version 2.0 that I would like to share with everyone that reads this publication. When backing up OS/2 you must use an OS/2 Backup program. There are serveral programs out there that are OS/2 Specific. When backing up OS/2 with a DOS backup program certain file Attributes don't get copied to the tape. As we all know DOS doesn't like files without a character and OS/2 Version 2.0 has some very important system files that have spaces in the file names. Always remember to use a tape backup program for the operating system. OS/2, UNIX, DOS..etc. Use a program that is Operating System Specific. Just a little tip that might save a lot of Users hours of time. EDITOR CLYDE ARNOLD BITS N' BYTES BBS
