      Freedom Information Network (FINET) is a multi-disciplinary
Christian ministry.  We exist to serve God, glorify Him and delight in
Him.

      We are transdenominational, endorsing whole-heartedly the original
Westminster Confession and catechisms.  Our historical scope is that of
classical and philosophical apologetics, a teaching ministry, and
providing assistance in these areas.  We also research and advise on a
broad spectrum of cults, religions and occultism, and assist researchers
and pastors with these matters, original manuscript and rare theological
book research, Septuagint and theological studies.
      
       Aspects of the counter-occult ministry include the "new age",
theosophy, Western occult orders and various magickal systems.
Counsel also is provided in identifying and correcting disordered
and delusional thought processes, often confused by "ego",
psychoanalysis, processes of Zen "enlightenment", meditation such
as TM, new age medicine and healing, and demonism, particularly
where separation from or rebellion against God is a factor.

      In addition to providing research, apologetics, teaching and
counselling services, Freedom Information Network also operates a
computer bulletin board ministry, linking several international
electronic networks.  Via personal computers, we endeavor to provide
connectivity between apologetics and other Christian BBS ministries,
provide electronic mail facilities and share textual and intelligence
resources.  We have had a unique role in the electronic community in
discussing Christian, Messianic and Jewish theology and world views on a
mature level. The computer bulletin board links Christians together, as
well as provides research and timely information of concern to
believers, researchers, patriots and others.

      Our networks are accessible to the public.  We carry ChristNet,
RIME, FINET, GraceNet, Newlife, MJCN, and Living Word Network.  We are a
HUB for 7 networks, and sponsor and host our own network--Freedom
Information Network. Christians as well as those interested in current
events and international affairs will find FINET of special interest;
FINET is an electronic publisher of news, intelligence, apologetics and
educational resources of concern to believers in these end times.  We
feature a growing number of newsletters, including MIA (McAlvany
Intelligence Advisor), Tabletalk (Ligonier), Morning Star Christian
Newsletter, Bible in the News, Prophetic Observer, Gospel Truth, ICR's
Acts & Facts, information on shortwave listening and amateur radio, etc.
We also provide technical and resource assistance to believers in
implementing their own computer bulletin boards and networking with
other computerized ministries.
