Keep the following in mind when creating a logo file. o A logo file must be a graphics file in PCX format. o To be used as a logo, the PCX file must be in the FAX directory. o The logo file must be black and white (single color plane). o The image resolution must be 200 dots per inch (dpi) -- 300 dpi won't work. (Scanning programs and graphics packages typically create images at 300 dpi, but fax machines produce images at 200 dpi. You can circumvent this conflict by saving the image at 200 dpi [or lower]). o The image should be no more than 1712 pixels (8.56 inches) wide and 600 pixels (three inches) long. While images longer than three inches will work, the text area of the cover page will be proportionally decreased from the maximum 36 lines of text.
