340aS.zip contain updated files from FACSys v3.40 to FACSys 3.40a. You need FACSys 3.40 or greater to upgrade to 3.40a using the 340aS.zip file. Copy INSTALL.EXE and FAXLINK.EXE to the \faxlink directory. Down the FACSys fax server and bring it back up. The faxlink.ini file shows examples of the new features in FACSys version 3.40a. BillingDial enabled will add the Billing Field to the dial string. PrintAfterSend enabled will print a copy of send faxes to specified Novell print queue. ValidDialChars specifies valid characters for the dialing string. The valid characters has to be specified in quotes ("").
