340aS.zip contain updated files from FACSys v3.40 to FACSys 3.40a. 
You need FACSys 3.40 or greater to upgrade to 3.40a using the 
340aS.zip file.
 
Copy INSTALL.EXE and FAXLINK.EXE to the \faxlink directory.

Down the FACSys fax server and bring it back up.

The faxlink.ini file shows examples of the new features in 
FACSys version 3.40a. BillingDial enabled will add the Billing 
Field to the dial string. PrintAfterSend enabled will print a 
copy of send faxes to specified Novell print queue. ValidDialChars
specifies valid characters for the dialing string. The valid characters 
has to be specified in quotes (""). 
Example: ValidDialChars="0123456789,WPTABCD"

CAUTION: Do not copy the FAXLINK.INI file to the \faxlink directory.

Copy CASX.COM, FBX.COM, FBX.OVL, FAX.EXE to the \facsys directory.

FXREDIR.DLL is the FACSys Redirector for Windows. FXHPPCL.DRV is 
the FACSys printer driver for Windows.

If you have a shared version of Windows fxredir.dll and fxhppcl.drv
resides in the \windows directory.

If you have Windows on your C: drive fxredir.dll and fxhppcl.drv
resides in the \windows\system directory.

FACSYS.EXE is the program executed by the FACSys icon in Windows.

COVER PAGE SCRIPT
The new version of FACSys v3.40a allows you to create a CVR file for 
all users. In that file you can specify the users full name that you 
want to show in the users FROM field on the cover page. 

The CVR files has to reside in the \faxlink\user directory. You name 
the CVR file the users login_name.cvr. Example: \faxlink\user\hb.cvr.

Under the present CAS 1.13 which we use (INTEL CAS) you can only 
have one field for USER NAME of Company Name they are one in the 
same. You can not have both.
