In the "Import" dialog box, locate the data-source file for your image source, and click "OK." The data-source file lets you operate your device from within IntelliDraw. The data-source file has a DS extension. You may find the file in the TWAIN subdirectory of the Windows directory or in a subdirectory of that directory. For more information, see you device documentation. 4. Specify a name, location, and other available options for the image, and then click "OK." 5. In the dialog box that opens, specify options according to your device documentation. The click the button that creates the TIFF image. The name of the button carries with the device; in most cases it is an "OK," "Scan," or "Acquire" button. If your device requires physical operation (a hand scanner, for example) it is ready for you to begin creating the image at this point. Otherwise, the image software acquires the image and saves it to your had drive. IntelliDraw then imports this TIFF image and places it into the active document window.
