Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE MED/94293132 AB The responses to measles immunization administered between 6 and 12 months and after 12 months were compared in children with and without human immunodeficiency virus infection. No difference in response was found when primary measles immunization was administered between 6 and 12 months; however, children with human immunodeficiency virus infection had a significantly poorer response when immunization was given after 12 months. Early measles immunization should be considered in children with human immunodeficiency virus infection.
