Unique Identifier : AIDSLINE ICA10/94369757 AB OBJECTIVE: To summarise major research on trace elements and vitamins in immunodeficiency prediction and initial enhancement of the immune system. METHODS: The research summarizes the actions, interactions and antagonism of trace elements and vitamins is presented in a single flow chart. RESULTS: The chart is a world first to combine the effects of trace elements and vitamins on the immune system. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Ratios of certain trace elements can be used for the early prediction of immunodeficiency in HIV infected persons. Treatment using trace elements/vitamins is also discussed. TABULAR DATA, SEE ABSTRACT VOLUME.
