Subject

Playback of wave file in mono mode even though recording was done in stereo 
mode.

Description

When using SoundO'le or Wave Studio to record a stereo file after configuring 
the recording setting to stereo mode, the recorded wave file was playback as a 
mono file.  The recorded digitized data on the Left/Right channels are identical.

Solution/Action

This problem can be solved by updating the current SBPSND.DRV to the latest 
version (SBPSND.DRV dated 04-28-93 or later) which can be found in Creative 
Technology's BBS as follows:

File Name : SBPSND.ZIP

Distributors are advised to download the files and update for users who 
encountered such problem.
