Subject

System "hang" when running The 7th Guest games, the display will go dim and 
there are background music, but no display at all.

Description

User who have Cirrus Logic VGA card (chipset 5420/5422) installed in their PC 
will not be able to run The 7th Guest game, the above-mentioned sympton 
occurs when executing the program T7G.BAT.

However, there is no problem during installation, the installation program can 
detect that a SVGA card is installed and set the parameters accordingly.

Solution/Action

The problem lies with The 7th Guest program itself which does not detect/set 
the video mode correctly.  A patch file that solves this problem is avalable on 
SB-BBS, the following information will help user to locate the file:

File Name	:	T7G_124.ZIP
Location	:	Main Conference General File Directory - 40.

All distributors are advised to download the file and update user who 
encountered this problem.
