Subject

When running Creative WaveStudio Ver 1.X in either French or German version 
of Windows 3.1, attempting to record sound will result in "Not enough memory" 
(or equilavence in their respective languages) error even there is sufficient 
system resources.

Description

The reason is due to a bug in one of the kernel (French & German version) of 
Windows 3.1, KRNL386.EXE.  The problem occurs in handling the system 
resources, eg. memory availability, file handles, etc.., thus causing Creative 
WaveStudio version 1.X to issue "not enought memory" error.

Solution/Action

This problem can be solved by replacing the French & German version of 
KRNL386.EXE in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory with that of an English 
version.
