Question 1:
This program will create the document indicated. Please be sure
that this is what you want to write before starting. You can
return to the main menu and select another module by pressing the
"escape" (Esc) key.
The program will write a Rejection of Goods letter for you. This
is a letter you can send specifying that the goods or equipment
sent to you does not conform to what you have ordered and you are
therefore rejecting same.
Question 2:
It is important to have the letter properly addressed. Here, you
need to designate if the letter is to go to an individual. If the
letter is to go to more than one individual, but not to a company,
then you can answer "yes" here also.
Question 3:
Please enter the full name of the individual to whom the letter is
directed. You may also put two names if appropriate. For
example, "Mr. and Mrs. George Bowder."
Question 4:
The program assumes that if the letter is not to an individual,
than it is to a company. If the letter is to more than one
individual and not to a company, please return to question 2 and
answer "yes". If you know the name of someone in the company that
is to receive the letter than answer "yes" to this question.
Question 5:
Please enter the full name of the person in the company who is to
receive the letter.
Question 6:
The program assumes that if the letter is not to an individual,
than it is to a company. If the letter is to more than one
individual and not to a company, please return to question 2 and
answer "yes". Here, you need to properly identify the name of the
company. You should use the company's name so that the mail will
get to the proper place.
Question 7:
Please enter the street address of the recipient of this letter.
This can also be a post office box or rural delivery number. It
should normally be the first line of the address of where the
letter is going and should include a suite number, room number,
apartment number, etc; such as "876 Williamson Lane, Suite 6A" or
"P.O. Box 8767". The next question will call for the City, State,
etc., so it there is more of an address that precedes the City,
State, etc., please enter it on this line.
Question 8:
Here, you need to list the City, State, and Zip code for the
letter. This line can also include the territory where the letter
is going or any appropriate designation that you would normally use
for the final line of the address. Thus, if the letter is going to
a foreign country, please include that in answer to this question
also. For example, "Anytown, Magenta 12345" or "Cheltsfield,
Surrey, England, 7G8 T4H".
Question 9:
Please date this letter.
Question 10:
If this letter is for a specific piece of equipment or a small list
of items then answer "yes" to this question.
Question 11:
Please identify the equipment. If there is more than one item,
then separate them by commas.
Question 12:
If this letter is not for a piece of equipment but is for a
shipment of goods, then they need to be identified in answer to
this question.
Question 13:
The program allows you to specify why you are rejecting the
equipment or goods. Note that you should answer "yes" to this
question if you are canceling the order altogether.
Question 14:
You must also explain what has happened to the shipment of goods or
equipment that is being rejected. If sent back to the shipper,
that answer "yes" here. Otherwise, the letter will state that you
still have the goods or equipment.
Question 15:
If you are sending the goods or equipment back and have already
paid for them are you expecting a credit on your account? If you
simply want your money back, and your account not credited, then
answer "no" to this question.
Question 16:
Here, you can demand the return of money to you that you have
already paid for the goods or equipment.
Question 17:
Please enter the amount that you anticipate receiving. You needn't
put a "$" sign because it will automatically appear in the
document.
Question 18:
If you haven't shipped the goods or equipment back, then are they
to be picked up by the shipper?
Question 19:
If the shipper is going to pick up the shipment, you need to
designate where it is. This can be a full address (include street,
city and State) or it can simply be "the main place of business of
the undersigned" or "at the above address". (Don't use the last
item unless you have put in your address at the top of the page or
are using your letterhead for this letter.)
Question 20:
If you are going to return the goods to the shipper (or you have
already) then you can put a paragraph in the letter that you are
billing the shipper for the cost of that return.

Question 23:
Please enter the complete name of the company.
Question 24:
What is the name of the individual in the company who is actually
going to sign the letter?
Question 25:
If a company will not be signing the letter, than enter the name of
the individual who is going to sign this.
Question 26:
You can print the finished letter of letterhead if you wish.
