 VIDEO BOARDS - GENERAL NOTES

     VGA BOARDS AND EGACACHE:
     EGACACHE works with many VGA boards, but the speed improvement is
     marginal compared to EGA boards.  Caching a VGA ROM uses 32K bytes of
     conventional memory.  If you have video problems after installing
     EGACACHE, remove it.

 QUADRAM QUADEGA+

     Intel has tested this product with Inboard 386/PC, and they are
     compatible.

     (Field report)  Reports indicate that Quadram BIOS version 0.99 (used
     on very early versions of the board) makes computers with Inboard
     386/PC unable to warm boot.  Contact Quadram for a BIOS upgrade if you
     have this problem.

 RENAISSANCE RENDITION I PLUS

     This is a graphics board for products such as AutoCad and Ventura.
     Intel tested it extensively and found it compatible with the Inboard
     386/PC.

 RENAISSANCE RENDITION I PLUS EGA OPTION BOARD

     Intel has extensively tested the EGA option board for the Rendition I
     Plus graphics engine.  Intel noted some software that was incompatible
     with the EGA option board, but the Inboard 386/PC didn't cause these
     incompatibilities.

 RENAISSANCE RENDITION RVGA 2

     Customers report that this board is compatible with the Inboard 386/PC
     if the RVGA board's autoswitch feature is disabled.

 SIGMA 400 EGA

     SIGMA 400 EGA This board is compatible with Inboard 386/PC, but the
     screen goes blank when using the Intel Softset program, so you must
     install the Intel software manually.

 SIGMA COLOR 400

     According to Sigma technical support, the Sigma Color 400 uses a
     "significant" amount of power.  Watch for power supply overload
     problems when using the Inboard 386/PC with the Sigma Color 400.  The
     latest Sigma Color 400 BIOS version is 2.52.

 SYSDYNE EGA

     Customer reports that this board locks up the computer when used with
     the Inboard 386/PC.

 TECMAR EGA MAESTRO

     Intel has tested this product with the Inboard 386/PC, and they are
     compatible.

 TSENG LABS EVA/480

     This board is reported by customers to be compatible with the Inboard
     386/PC.

 VIDEO 7 DELUX

     Intel has tested this product with the Inboard 386/PC, and they are
     compatible.  The Video 7 board uses addresses A000-BFFF and C000-C3FF
     and interrupt request IRQ 2.

 VIDEO 7 VRAM VGA

     This board may conflict with the IBM PC XT BIOS.  Though the Inboard
     386/PC doesn't cause the problem, it may expose the problem.  If you
     have this problem, disable the VGA extended functions.  If you must use
     the extended functions, set up the system board for a CGA monitor.
     This will cause 1 long and 2 short beeps (indicating a video error) but
     won't affect the board's operation.
