@ RELEASE NOTES @ * Version 2.0 of FOXOOP * 1. Added User C(30) field to the OOp_ctl file to allow the storing of multiple memory files for storing of current record pointer and the sort order of the user. ie User = "H:\" so that H:\ is mapped differently for every network user. 2. The main Browser window is now non-modal. So you may use the Ctrl-F2 key to pull up the Command window or use Ctrl-F1 to flip thru the windows you have active. 3. SPECIAL NOTE. The Date and time displayed in the main browse is NOT the dos Date and time of this Object. It is the Last Time that this Object was CHECKED OUT or IN. * Version 1.0 of FOXOOP * I'm sorry about the lack of Documentation folks but this APP was knocked up in a week. So consequently the old written material is vastly lacking. A couple of helpful hints : 1. Start Foxoop by typing ie . DO FOXOOP WITH "C:\DEV" Where c:\dev is the home directory where the library files will reside. 2. When you have loaded Foxoop press ALT-O to see the main menu. 3. First go to the Setup option and enter the Source code paths separated with commas. ie c:\progs\*.prg, c:\screens\*.scx Nb don't forget to put a directory for generated code. 4. After the Setup option is completed select the Freshen files and the system will load the progs, screens, reports and menus automatically for you. 5. The version column. The number on the right increments for every compile you do. The number on the left increments when you check an object backin. @ LATE MINUTE @ 1. To UPGRADE from version 1.0 to 2.0 all you must do is add the field called USER C(30) to the OOP_CTL file. @ NEW IDEAS @ 1. Pass parameters to a function by using a browse that dynamically creates itself by the number of parameters required for the function. 2. Filter conditions so only certain objects show in the main browse. 3. Some reports for skimming thru to determine which objects need a description for there existence. (If your anything like me you have a few routine that you created that you have no idea what they are for?) @ Signoff Steve Shepherd CIS 100032, 222 @
