Mr. Cassette 1.0SW Re-Release Date 10/19/94 Original Release Date 09/20/94 I apologize for the inconvienience if you downloaded the original copy of Mr.Cassette. It had a problem that when it was initialized, it would crash. The problem stemmed from the cassette.ini file it's supposed to create. I had a line in it that if there was no assigned font then it should use the MS Sans Serif font as the default. I didn't realize that printers have such a hard time with screen fonts... remember guys it's version 1.0... Anyway, changing the line to Arial font seems to take care of the problem. I strongly suggest using TrueType Fonts for best WYSIWYG results. If you still have a problem, I have written down the cassette.ini file below for your reference. ;Cassette.ini ;1 Recording source "Source [CD]","Source [Live]","Source [Other]" ;2 Noise reduction "NR [Dolby B]","NR [Dolby C]","NR [Dolby HX Pro]","NR [DBX]","NR [None]" ;3 Tape formulation "Tape Type [CrO2]","Tape Type [Normal]","Tape Type [Metal]" ;4 Tape Equalization "EQ [70us]","EQ [120us]" ;5 Font "Arial",etc (Make sure it is a TrueType Font) ;6 Font Italics 0 = False, -1 = True ;7 Font Bold 0 = False, -1 = True Copy the text below and save it as Cassette.ini then copy it to your Windows' directory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Settings] 1=Source [CD] 2=NR [Dolby B] 3=Tape Type [CrO2] 4=EQ [70us] 5=Arial 6=0 7=-1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My apologies again and Thanks for trying Mr.Cassette 1.0SW
