HOW TO EXTRACT PROGRAMS FROM .ARC FILES Each .arc file on this diskette contains one or more programs, documentation, and/or support files associated with the given program. The best way to use one of these programs is to set it up in it's own directory on your hard disk, or on a separate diskette until you learn it's needs and capabilities. Then you may wish to combine the ones you use into a utility directory or diskette. Hard disk: To extract a program, such as the DBWPWBS system, into a hard disk directory, create a directory, such as C:\DBWPWBS, make the directory the current directory, and type A:PKXARC A:\UTILS\DBWPWBS to extract all files and programs from the DBWPWBS.ARC file on this floppy disk into the directory. Floppy disk: To extract a program, such as the DBWPWBS system, onto a formatted floppy disk in the B: drive, make the B: drive the current drive, and type A:PKXARC A:\UTILS\DBWPWBS to extract all files and programs from the DBWPWBS.ARC file on this floppy disk onto the diskette in drive B:. Enjoy!
