Dossa ^C(Games and Exercises) The second part of Proto Type is a set of games and exercises for experienced typists who wish to improve their accuracy and/or increase typing speed. A series of typing tests are provided as well as two games: Touch Typing Tic-Tac- Toe and Escape. The games and exercises can be started by inserting Disk #2 in drive A (unless a hard disk is being used) and typing GAMES then pressing ENTER. These games and exercises can also be accessed from the tutorial program, or directly from the BIG BLUE DISK menu. The tutorial is on disk 3, while the games and exercises are on disk 2. (That's in the 5 1/4" edition; both parts are on disk 2 of the 3 1/2" edition.) To copy Proto Type onto a hard disk or 3 1/2" disk, use the "Copy It" options for the two parts to copy all files from both into the same drive or directory. WARNING: Proto Type resets the system clock as part of its timing routines. If you like to keep the correct system time, be sure to set it again (with the DOS "TIME" command or whatever program you use to read the time off a battery- operated real-time clock board) once you're done running Proto Type.
