To get started either read the .doc file or just start up the game and view the help screens to learn how the game works. REQUIREMENTS: CIPHER runs in 640x350, 16 color EGA graphics, thus an EGA card or better (VGA cards support EGA graphics modes) is used. It can also run in color text mode and most any system that can display colored text will work. Both video modes support keyboard play; EGA mode also supports mouse play. SHAREWARE: CIPHER is distributed as Shareware. You are free to try the game and make copies for others. If you continue to use the game, however, you are asked to make a donation to the author of $10 or more to support continued development of this and other software. Software distribution companies may include CIPHER in their catalog provided a copy of the catalog is supplied to the author.
