Welcome to IconMaster, the complete Windows 3 icon editor, viewer, and management system. 

This is the first Beta release of IconMaster. Although it is a Beta, you should find it to be very robust and complete.  What it has not had is a great deal of use by many people.  I am sure that it will benefit from your comments and suggestions, so please send them in, good or bad.

IconMaster is copyright 1991 and is distributed as shareware. Please see the license information in the manual and do register if you continue to use it. Registration is $20.00 and will get you the most recent version and thanks from the author.

You should find the following files in the IMSTR01.ZIP distribution:

	ICONMSTR.WRI	the manual
	IMCOMP.WRI	comparison of IconMaster to
			several other icon programs

When posting on bulletin boards, please post only the complete ZIP file with the name IMSTR01.ZIP
