This zip file contains new prototype firmware and installation 
instructions for Alpha AXP systems.  Because this new prototype 
firmware is a preliminary version of a future release of the
firmware for Alpha AXP systems, this should only be installed
if you are participating in the upcoming beta test by Microsoft 
of Windows NT Version 3.5, code-named "Daytona".  If you wish 
to obtain the beta for Windows NT Version "Daytona" please 
contact Microsoft Corporation.

Your Alpha AXP system must be running the final released
version of Windows NT Version 3.1 or Windows NT Advanced Server 
Version 3.1 and this new prototype firmware must be installed on all 
Alpha AXP 150 and DEC 2000 systems on which you plan to run "Daytona".

This new prototype firmware supports:
    Windows NT Version 3.1
    Windows NT Advance Server Version 3.1
    Windows NT Version "Daytona"
    Windows NT Advanced Server Version "Daytona". 

Please note that if you do not install the new prototype firmware
before installing "Daytona", then the beta software will not 
function correctly. 

The "Daytona" beta will be supported by Microsoft in their 
moderated forum on CompuServe.  If you  need further clarification
