Description:    

MOGLE is the MicroStation OpenGL Engine.  MOGLE provides graphics acceleration
for MicroStation V5/NT users and is a multithreaded OpenGL replacement for
the MicroStation graphics pipeline.  MOGLE is an AGI compliant graphics driver
for Windows NT 3.5 and receives high level data from MicroStation and converts
that data into the appropriate OpenGL calls to display MicroStation's graphics
requests.

Installation Help

1. Insert the MOGLE Setup Floppy in your flopy drive (A:\ or B:\)
2. Select RUN from the FILE menu of the Program Manager
3. Type A:\SETUP (or B:\SETUP) and press ENTER

or

1. Double click on A:\SETUP.EXE (or B:\SETUP.EXE) from the File Manager

Follow the instructions during the setup procedure to load MOGLE on your system.
MOGLE.MA and MOGLE.DLL should have been delivered to your MicroStation MDL Required
Applications directory (e.g., c:\win32app\ingr\ustation\mdlsys\required). Setup
should have also delivered a configuration application and this readme file to
the directory specified during setup (e.g., c:\win32app\ingr\mogle).


The Setup procedure does not offer different configurations to install.

Getting Started

The following commands are available from within MicroStation as long as MOGLE is loaded:

	ustn>	mogle [palette]			(displays an MDL command palette for MOGLE)
	ustn>	mogle help				(displays a more complete listing of commands)
	ustn>	mogle config[ure]		(displays a configure dialog for MOGLE)
	ustn>	mogle disable			(allows MicroStation to render)
	ustn>	mogle enable			(allows MOGLE to render)
	ustn>	mogle timex [cmd...]	(produces an elapsed time value for "cmd..."
	ustn>	mogle unload			(unloads MOGLE)
	ustn>	mogle demo				(starts a demo script to compare rendering times)
	ustn>	mogle set defaults		(resets MOGLE to a default state)

	MOGLE specific
	 . Reference file clipping is not supported.
	 . Render/Update fence block works, but render/update fence shape does not.
	 . Dynamics with large models may not provide any performance improvement.
	 . UNDO operations with dynamics loaded will invalidate dynamics.
	 . Erase background message may conflict with other applications.

	Unfinished feature list
	 . Base Color in Material is not supported.

	MicroStation specific
	 . This version of MOGLE requires MicroStation version 05.00.95.07 or higher.
	 . Cell Library Review does not display cells while MOGLE is active.
