Virtual Access is an Offline Reader for Mail, News, CompuServe and CIX
for WindowsNt/95 for multiple users



Introduction:
=============
This version of Virtual Access is for Windows NT or Windows 95, it will
not run under windows 3.x, there is however available a version  of 
irtual Access that will run under windows 3.x

This version will time out after running for 30 seperate days.

You can install Virtual Access on your network and share one online
accounts access to Mail/News/CompuServe/CIX across the whole company.
Virtual Access supports everything from a single user using one service
to multiple users, with multiple online accounts to multiple services
and everything inbetween.


Installation Instructions:
==========================
To install Virtual Access just run the va32.exe program included
in this archive.  It will begin the installation process, you will
then be guided through the installation process by 'wizard' style
dialogs.  Most of the dialogs have info buttons that explain the
choices available and the implications of those choices.

If you choose to go for the standard install then you will get
Virtual Access installed in Professional (Single User) mode.  to get
Virtual Access installed in Workgroup (Multi User) mode you must
choose a custom install.

All of the files of Virtual Access are installed into one directory, 
(that you choose) except for ctl3d32.dll, which will be installed into
the windows system directory.  However if you already have a copy of
that file there then we will place a backup copy of ctl3d32.dll into
the ~\vapath\backup\ directory.


Support for Virtual Access:
===========================
Support for Virtual Access Internet is via the ashmount news server, 
steed.ashmount.com, which is available inside Virtual Access as the
Ashmount service.

Virtual Access comes complete with messages that describe the features
and facilities of Virtual Access, and how to set it up and get going.
Please take the time and trouble to read them after installing they
will show you how to setup and use Virtual Access.
