You downloaded LEdit V1.08 Shareware Package.

This package is provided to you to test and evaluate LEdit
(see _LICENSE.WRI for details). If you feel LEdit matches
your needs you should register it (see _REGISTR.WRI and
run _REGISTR.EXE for details). Anyway you may contact us
in a way described in _CONTACT.WRI file. We'd greatly
appreciate if you fill in the feedback form (FEEDBACK.TXT
to send by e-mail or FEEDBACK.WRI to print on paper).
Please read also the file __README.WRI.

The package is distributed as a PKZipped file ledit108.zip.
When unzipping it you should use -d key. The best way is
to make a new directory (e.g. C:\LEDIT) and then place
ledit108.zip there. Then you can unzip it as follows:

pkunzip -d ledit108.zip

This command will create a set of directories where LEdit itself
and its wrappers reside. Here is the list:

LEDIT - General Ledit
LEDLP - Delphi VCL wrapper
LEMFC - MFC wrapper
LEOCX - OCX package info
LEOWL - OWL wrapper
LERWS - Resorce workshop wrapper (part of OWL wrapper)
LEVBX - VBX wrapper

Each directory contain LExxx__I.TXT file that explain how to
install the files it contains.

In any case you need to install general LEdit from LEDIT subdirectory.
This process is explained in details in the file LEDIT__I.TXT from there.
Actually it means copying ledit.dll to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
thought even this is not necessary.
