1. Purpose:  HouseWare v1.0 is a tool that crunches numbers for all phases of a mortgage.  From loan qualification to prepayment, from refinancing to selling, HouseWare's single-screen format gives detailed information on the largest financial transaction in most people's lives.  

2. Installation:  No special installation required.  Simply use the unZIPped .EXE file.  

3. Program status:  Shareware.  HouseWare v1.0 is fully functional for 30-year loans.  Registered versions of the product ($5.95) provide the following upgrades:
	-elimination of the 35-second startup screen
	-enabling of the PRINT button
	-enabling the loan-term field for any length of loan

4. Distribution status:  Freely distributable.
